Dr. Sharon Fleischer

Principal Investigator

Dr. Sharon Fleischer is an Assistant Professor at Tel Aviv University, working at the interface of biotechnology and biological discovery. She completed her B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Tel Aviv University, followed by postdoctoral training at Columbia University, where she specialized in stem cells, tissue engineering, and human organs-on-a-chip.  Her work has been recognized with multiple prestigious awards, including the Rising Star Award in Engineering in Health (Johns Hopkins and Columbia University), the Rappaport Prize for Excellence in Biomedical Research, the Rothschild Postdoctoral Fellowship, the Adams Fellowship, and the Women in Science Scholarship from the Israel Ministry of Science.
